COMSATS University Library feels honor to announce the subscription of hundred of books giving access to full text, Abstracts TOCs and Document Delivery services. These books are available through world's renowned Publishers having a variety of books on Sciences, Technology, Social science and humanities.
The above online services are available to staff and students of COMSATS University. Under the terms of the license agreements no individual staff or students are permitted to make additional copies, publish, distribute, sell or modify any of the information found on the databases listed below. Any breaches of these terms could result in the University's subscription to the relevant database being discontinued by the HEC. All the resources are available on national level licenses. Users are bound to use these resources under copyright laws. Any authorized or enrolled researcher/teacher/student of COMSATS University can access the journals and different databases with in COMSATS Campus/library. Person having access will be strictly bound to obey copyright laws for convenient services.

Oxford University Press Full TEXT e-books (Oxford Scholarship Online)
Oxford Scholarship Online is a library containing the full text of over 1200 Oxford books with at least 200 new and recently-published books added each year in the areas of Economics and Finance, Philosophy, Political Science, and Religion. The Taylor & Francis Group publishes around 1,800 new books each year, with a books backlist in excess of 20,000 specialist titles. It provides online e-Collections in the areas of Social Sciences and the Humanities and more... Please Click Here to access the Taylor & Francis e-Books.
The access to above 40,000 e-books provided by Higher Education Commission is available to institutions registered with HEC Digital Library only. The access is enabled through IP authentication so there is no username and password for access.

o Quick Search: Just type a word and go. By default, the Quick Search searches all parts of the texts except the full text (i.e. it searches titles, authors, keywords and abstracts at both book and chapter levels). So a Quick Search will find your search terms in titles, book abstracts, chapter abstracts and keywords.
o Advanced Search: Gives you more options to construct complex queries, and ways to refine your search. Advanced Search searches by: Title, Author, Keywords, Abstracts, Full Text, ISBN, Year of Publication, Subject, Sort (By: title, author or publication date).

§ Title: This option searches for the word or phrase youve entered within the Title field of a book. § Master eISBN: Every eBook has an ISBN, just like every print book has an ISBN. If you know this ISBN (Taylor & Francis Master eBook ISBNs always begin with 0203), type it here and click Go. § Author: This option will find a single word in an authors name, either first name or surname, or you can search for both names together in the format First Name Surname. e.g. Alex McGlaughlin, Linda Hargreaves § Keyword: This searches for keywords in the bibliographic information. Commonly used words like 'the' and 'which' are excluded. Searching for two words e.g. "physical" and "education" will bring up all results where either the words "physical" or "education" is set. § Series: This searches for a single word within the series line of the bibliographic information for each book e.g. searching for the word 'Successful' brings up all titles in the Successful Teaching series of books. § Pub Date: Searches for the publication date of the original print edition of the book. Searching for 2001 will list all books published in 2001.
o Full Content Search: Gives you more options to construct complex queries, and ways to refine your search. Advanced Search searches by: Title, Author, Keywords, Abstracts, Full Text, ISBN, Year of Publication, Subject, Sort (By: title, author or publication date).
DX Reader is the software which is required to view the T&F e-book. It will be automatically installed on your system when you will view the Book.
Click on the Open & Read Button to view the whole book. When the book will open in DX Reader you will find different options on the top menu to navigate like: eCopy, select Highlight Color, Annotation Manager, Bookmark Manager, Research Book Manager and Preferences. You can also jump to your desired page number by the go to page number option available on the top menu.
On the left navigation bar you can view Full Table of Contents. You can jump to your desired chapter by just clicking its title. You can also search within the book by writing your search text in the Quick Search box which is on the top left bar.
· Printing To print simply use ePrint button which you can see on the top menu bar. There are three options available: Add Page to Print Queue, Add Chapter to Print Queue and View Print Queue.
